He won the domestic men’s group championship of the Shanghai Marathon and the domestic men’s group championship of the Guangzhou Marathon in 2023.
At the 2024 Osaka Marathon in Japan, Wu Xiangdong finished 10th with a time of 2 hours, 8 minutes, and 4 seconds, successfully crossing the marathon finish line of 2 hours, 8 minutes, and 10 seconds at the Paris Olympics.
