Tang Duo (March 26, 1904- November 20, 1983), originally named Tang Lingyun, with the courtesy name Jincheng.
Born in a peasant family in Yiyang County, Hunan Province in 1904, he was a member of the CPC.
In his early years, he participated in the work study movement in France.
In 1925, he was sent to study in the Soviet Union.
Since then, he has fought in the Soviet air force for 28 years.
Due to his outstanding contributions during his time working in the Soviet Union and his glorious achievements in the Soviet Patriotic War, he was awarded the Order of Lenin, the Order of the Red Flag, the Order of the Red Star, the Order of the Soviet Patriotic War, the Medal for the Victory over Germany in the Patriotic War, the Medal for the Siege of K ö nigsberg, and the Medal for the 30th Anniversary of the Soviet Army and Navy.
In 1955, he was awarded the rank of Major General of the Air Force of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.
