Huineng Square consists of four halls and two centers: Huineng Memorial Hall, Archives, Cultural Center, Museum, Library, and Youth, Women, and Children’s Activity Center.
The architecture revolves around the design concept of “integrating with mountains and waters, layered progression, Tang style charm, and clear Zen atmosphere”, organically integrating the profound and extensive culture of the Sixth Patriarch with architecture, gardens, and mountains and waters, making the entire square grand, atmospheric, and full of Zen flavor, creating the effect of “one step, one scenery, one story”, and is an excellent place to experience Zen culture.
